DAY ONE

Start with breakfast by the beach at MissionBay, overlooking the sparkling waters of the Waitemata Harbour. Take a stroll along the waterfront then head for nearby Parnell to peruse the galleries, boutique stores and charming rose gardens. If gardens are your thing, you could instead explore Eden Garden or Auckland Domain. All are handy to Newmarket - the perfect spot for some serious retail therapy and lunch. You can then skip round the back of the CBD to the Bohemian delights of Karangahape (‘K’) Road and on to Ponsonby for dinner and evening entertainment

09:30-09:45 am Take the explorer bus to Parnell area
09:45-12:45 pm Stroll at waterfront and head to Parnell galleries and boutique stores
12:45-01:00 pm Take the explorer bus to Newmarket
01:00-02:15 pm Lunch at Newmarket
02:15-02:30 pm Take the satellite bus to Eden Rose Garden get off at stop 1
02:30-04:15 pm Tour Eden rose garden
04:15-04:30 pm Take the satellite bus to Westfield shopping center get off at stop 3
04:30-06:30 pm Head to Westfield shopping center @ Karangahape road for more shopping
06:40-07:00 pm Walk to Ponsonby area for dinner
07:00-09:05 pm Dinner at Ponsonby
09:05-09:20 pm Take the bus back to the hotel
09:20pm             Arrive back to the Hotel
